On Wednesday the December 9th, the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson attended a Community Christmas Carol Service at Jesus House in Brent Cross. The Deputy Mayor of Barnet, Cllr Hugh Rayner also attended, representing the borough’s Mayor. Other local councilors joined the packed auditorium with members of the community to sing Christmas carols such as ‘O’ Holy Night’ and ‘Once in Royal David City’. The congregation joyfully sang to their hearts content led by ‘The Tribe of Judah’, the church’s in house gospel choir. The Carol Service was attended by families and people of all ages and backgrounds. Jesus House has a packed Christmas season this year with a further Christmas Carol service on December 23rd and a Christmas Day service on the 25th.
